FOI: Info regarding trading standards complaint

I am writing to request information under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 regarding the handling and assessment of a complaint that was submitted to the Trading Standards department of Barnet Council in October 2020 on behalf of myself by the Edward Argar MP.Background:My complaint concerned faulty radio transmission equipment supplied by a business called Zcomax Technologies Ltd on behalf of a Taiwanese manufacturer called Ignite Net, which was being installed under government grants and subsequently found to have incorrect certification including EU Declaration of Conformity which was signed some 12-18 months prior to delivery of the first of many units being shipped to us by the UK distributor Zcomax Technologies. This issue was brought to your attention of my local MP, Edward Argar directly to your CEO. Information Requested:1. A full copy of the risk assessment conducted on my complaint, including: a) The specific criteria used to assess the risk level b) The scoring or rating system employed c) The final risk classification assigned to my complaint2. Detailed information on the decision-making process that led to my complaint being classified as "lower risk", including: a) The individuals or roles involved in this decision ( As they maybe called to court as a witness) b) Any policies or guidelines referenced in making this determination c) Explanations for why potential safety implications of faulty radio transmission equipment were not considered high risk3. Copies of any internal communications or memos regarding the handling of my complaint4. Information on the resource allocation process for investigating complaints, including: a) The criteria used to determine which complaints are investigated b) Statistics on the number of complaints received vs. investigated for the year my complaint was submitted5. Copies of any policies or procedural documents related to the prioritization and investigation of Trading Standards complaints6. Information on any follow-up actions taken after the initial decision not to investigate, including any reviews or reassessments of this decision7. Details of the standard procedure for communicating decisions to complainants, and an explanation for why this procedure was not followed in my case8. Any records of communication between Barnet Council and other entities (e.g., my local MP, other government departments) regarding this complaint9. Information regarding Ofcom's involvement in this case: a) Was Ofcom advised of this complaint? If so, please provide details of any communication with Ofcom regarding this matter. b) If Ofcom was not advised, please explain the decision-making process that led to not involving Ofcom in a case concerning potentially faulty radio transmission equipment. c) Copies of any policies or guidelines that inform decisions about when to involve Ofcom in Trading Standards complaints related to radio or telecommunications equipment.If you need any clarification or have any questions about this request, please don't hesitate to contact me.
