Commercial to residential units

I am a journalist for BBC London News. I am writing to you under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 to request the following information. Please may you provide me with:1. How many street-level commercial units (Class E) have been converted into residential (Class C3) properties:a.In the past financial year b.In the past five financial yearsPlease could you also detail what rules the council has in place in terms of allowing properties to be converted from commercial to residential. Is there a local level planning permission required? CLARIIFICATION received 24.06.2024 Could you provide me with data on a) How many Prior Approvals have been granted by the Council?b) How many physical conversions following a prior approval, or a planning application process have taken place?]2. In conservation areas how are the rules and uses applied?If it is not possible to provide the information requested due to the information exceeding the cost of compliance limits identified in Section 12, please provide advice and assistance, under the Section 16 obligations of the Act, as to how I can refine my request.If you can identify any ways that my request could be refined I would be grateful for any further advice and assistance.If you have any queries please don't hesitate to contact me via email or phone and I will be very happy to clarify what I am asking for and discuss the request, my details are outlined below.Thank you for your time and I look forward to your response.
