Have your say on the future of Clitterhouse Playing Fields

A public consultation has been launched on the future of Clitterhouse Playing Fields, a 44-acre open green space that is a key part of the Brent Cross Cricklewood regeneration programme.

Clitterhouse Playing Fields

The area is at the heart of our plans for the new park town Brent Cross Town. We want to transform it into one of north London’s most significant parks, a place where people can relax and enjoy green spaces, grab a coffee, and meet with friends. It will be a place where anyone, regardless of age, gender or ability can participate in active play and sport, or enjoy as a spectator.

That vision means offering a wide variety of new sports and play facilities that are accessible to all, as well as clear and safe routes throughout the fields and a pavilion.

Clitterhouse Playing Fields cover an area equivalent of 22 football pitches, or around a quarter of the eventual size of Brent Cross Town. And unlike most comparable development schemes, Brent Cross Town will result in a net increase in the amount of green space.

The Clitterhouse Playing Fields consultation will run until Sunday 31 October, and is available to view at http://www.bxt.uk/cpfconsult.

Brent Cross Town will also be holding a series of in-person events on the following dates:

  • Tuesday 19 October, 4-7pm, at The WorkShop on Claremont Way, NW2 1AJ

  • Wednesday 20 October, 4-7pm, at The WorkShop on Claremont Way, NW2 1AJ

  • Saturday 23 October 2021, 11am-3pm, at Clitterhouse Farm, Claremont Road, NW2 1AP

  • Sunday 24 October 2021, 11am-6pm at The WorkShop on Claremont Way, NW2 1AJ.
