The result of yesterday’s by-election in the Finchley Church End ward was declared last night (Thursday 6 March) at Barnet Council Headquarters, in Colindale. 

The seat was won by Josh Mastin-Lee, Conservative Party Candidate.   

This means the political composition of the Council is now 40 Labour, 20 Conservative and three members who are not part of a council political group. 

There is no automatic change to the Council administration. 

The turnout for this by-election was 25.5%.
