Received: 28 October 2024

Please would you be so kind as to provide me with the following information:Regarding the Compulsory school aged (5-16) Special Education Needs and Disability (SEND) Travel Assistance Policy consultation. On your website (at Compulsory school aged (5-16) Special Education Needs and Disability (SEND) Travel Assistance Policy consultation | Engage Barnet) it states that the consultation opened on 13th June 2024 and on the 25th July 2024.The 'Feedback due' date is then given as September 2024.Please can you let me know when the feedback to the above consultation was released and where?I have looked on the 'Engage Barnet - We asked, you said, we did' pages (available at: We asked, you said, we did | Engage Barnet ) which seems to provide feedback on other consultations, but I am unable to find an reference to the 'Compulsory school aged (5-16) Special Education Needs and Disability (SEND) Travel Assistance Policy' consultation here.As part of the 'Engage Barnet' section of your website, there is an 'Consultation and Engagement Toolkit' available. At 'Tool 10 - Analysing and reporting your results' (available at: Tool_9._Analysing_and_reporting_your_results.pdf (ehq-production-europe.s3.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com) ), it states, at p.2:Where to startAnalysing data and reporting on the consultations findings can be quite daunting at first, especially if you have never done it before or if you have a lot of data to analyse. It's not as complicated as it may look - you just need to approach it in stages:Step 1: Analyse quantitative data (survey data)Step 2: Analyse qualitative data (open ended questions in survey data and findings from focus groups or face to face events)Step 3: Write up full consultation report (to be included as an appendix for the decision maker to consider)Step 4: Summarise the key points and recommendations that answer your consultations aims and objectives and include in the decision makers report11 The decision makers report may be a Committee Report for members to consider, a Senior Commissioning Board (SCB) report for Directors to consider and approve before it goes to committee, or another type senior management group to consider or the Project Board Report.Would you please let me know on which date the report on the above consultation was submitted to the 'decision makers'?Would you please let me know who the 'decision makers' deciding upon this consultation report where, i.e., which committee or management group the 'Compulsory school aged (5-16) Special Education Needs and Disability (SEND) Travel Assistance Policy' consultation was submitted to and who was on that board? Can you provide me with the date upon which the report was 'approved' by this committee/management group? Can you let me know when this report was 'enacted' or became an office Barnet Council policy? Finally, would you please let me know when it went live on your website?Regarding the 'Travel Assistance Policy for Children of Compulsory School Age (5-16), Updated August 2024'Please can you provide me with the relevant information (i.e., when it was decided and by who), detailing the decision to discontinue producing a specific SEND travel assistance policy (as per your August 2023 policy, 'EDUCATION AND SKILLS SERVICE SEN Home to School Travel Assistance Policy August 2023', available at: 657-sen-home-to-school-travel-assistance-policy.pdf (barnetlocaloffer.org.uk)Further questions...
