The Department of Work & Pensions has provided local authorities across England with funding to support households most in need to help with global inflationary challenges and the significantly rising living costs via the Household Support Fund.
We have now received confirmation for the Household Support Fund to cover 1 April 2024 to 30 September 2024.
Households over 18 years including pensioners
If you need financial help with the cost of living, heating your home and providing food, there are lots of different organisations that can help.
They offer a range of information and advice, support to manage your money, maximise your income, and can help if you are in debt or need financial assistance.
If you are an adult over:
- 55 please call AgeUK Barnet and ask for the Household Support Fund Team on 020 8203 5040 or email Age UK
- 18 but under 54, please call BOOST and ask for Household Support Fund Team on 020 8359 2442 or email BOOST
