Barnet Council publishes every Freedom of Information response we produce. If you are looking for information from the Council, we may have published the answer already

Statement of Accounts
Each year we are required to produce a statement of accounts that gives details of all our financial activities and our overall financial position. This is a technical document published to meet both statutory requirements and proper accounting practice.
Our published statement of accounts
The council abides by the Local Accountability Act 2014 which allows people to inspect our accounting records and supporting documentation and make copies of them.
Registered electors have the right to inspect, ask about and challenge items in the council’s accounts.
These rights can only be exercised during ‘the inspection period’ which is a single 30-day working period.
