The person receiving the item may be required to collect the item from you.
You can also donate your furniture for reuse to these organisations:
Reuse and Recycling Centre, Summers Lane
Take your unwanted furniture for reuse to the Summers Lane centre
Items must be in good condition and where appropriate have the fire safety label attached.
These items can also be donated to the onsite reuse shop Second Time Around.
Barnet Furniture Centre
Barnet Furniture Centre collect donations of good quality furniture. They sell second hand and vintage pieces.
You can find everything from bed frames to coffee tables at their warehouse in Friern Barnet.
This scheme helps divert tones of furniture away from landfill and ensures they are reused or recycled instead.

Kith and Kids
Kith and Kids collect furniture from postcodes beginning with:

There is no collection charge but furniture must be in saleable condition and electrical goods must be in working order.

North London Hospice Furniture Shop
North London Hospice collect donations of good quality furniture. They sell second hand and vintage pieces.
This scheme helps divert tonnes of furniture away from landfill disposal and ensures they are reused instead.

British Heart Foundation
British Heart Foundation collect donations of furniture in a saleable condition.
Upholstered furniture must have a fire safety label firmly attached or sewn into every item you donate.
The Loop @ Grahame Park Estate
Groundwork London is working to improve the estate environment, promote reuse, and reduce waste and fly-tipping at Grahame Park by creating The Loop @ Grahame Park
Grahame Park Estate residents can get a free home collection of unwanted household items.
The workshop team at The Loop also offer furniture repairs.
