Permitted development rights withdrawn by the Article 4 direction
- 1A: The enlargement, improvement or other alteration of a dwellinghouse
- 1C: Any other alteration to the roof of a dwellinghouse
- 1D: The erection or construction of a porch outside any external door of a dwellinghouse
- 1E: The provision within the curtilage of the dwellinghouse of: (a) any building or enclosure, swimming or other pool required for a purpose incidental to the enjoyment of the dwellinghouse as such, or the maintenance, improvement or other alteration of such a building or enclosure; (b) a container used for domestic heating purposes for the storage of oil or liquid petroleum gas.
- 1F: Development consisting of: (a) the provision within the curtilage of a dwellinghouse of a hard surface for any purpose incidental to the enjoyment of the dwellinghouse as such; (b) the replacement in whole or in part of such a surface.
- 1G: The installation, alteration or replacement of a chimney, flue or soil and vent pipe on a dwellinghouse
- 1H: The installation, alteration or replacement of a microwave antenna on a dwellinghouse or within the curtilage of a dwellinghouse
- 2A: The erection, construction, maintenance, improvement or alteration of a gate, fence, wall or other means of enclosure
- 2B: The formation, laying out and construction of a means of access to a highway which is not a trunk road or a classified road, where that access is required in connection with development permitted by any Class in this Schedule (other than by Class A of this Part).
- 2C: The painting of the exterior of any building or work
- 2F: The installation, alteration or replacement on a building of a closed circuit television camera to be used for security purposes
- 14A : The installation, alteration or replacement of microgeneration solar PV or solar thermal equipment on: (a) a dwellinghouse or a block of flats; or (b) a building situated within the curtilage of a dwellinghouse or a block of flats
- 14B : The installation, alteration or replacement of stand-alone solar for microgeneration within the curtilage of a dwellinghouse or a block of flats.
- 14C : The installation, alteration or replacement of a microgeneration ground source heat pump within the curtilage of a dwellinghouse or a block of flats.
- 14D : The installation, alteration or replacement of a microgeneration water source heat pump within the curtilage of a dwellinghouse or a block of flats.
- 14E : The installation, alteration or replacement of a flue, forming part of a microgeneration biomass heating system, on a dwellinghouse or a block of flats
- 14F : The installation, alteration or replacement of a flue, forming part of a microgeneration combined heat and power system, on a dwellinghouse or a block of flats
- 14G : The installation, alteration or replacement of a microgeneration air source heat pump: (a) on a dwellinghouse or a block of flats; or (b) within the curtilage of a dwellinghouse or a block of flats
- 14H : The installation, alteration or replacement of a microgeneration wind turbine on: (a) a detached dwellinghouse; or (b) a detached building situated within the curtilage of a dwellinghouse or a block of flats
- 14I : The installation, alteration or replacement of a stand-alone wind turbine for microgeneration within the curtilage of a dwellinghouse or a block of flats
- 16A : Development by or on behalf of an electronic communications code operator for the purpose of the operator’s electronic communications network in, on, over or under land controlled by that operator or in accordance with the electronic communications code, consisting of: (a) the installation, (b) the use of land in an emergency for a period not exceeding 6 months to station and operate moveable electronic communications apparatus required for the replacement of unserviceable electronic communications apparatus, or (c) development ancillary to radio equipment housing.
- 16D : The installation, alteration or replacement of system apparatus by or on behalf of a driver information system operator.
- 16E : Development required for the purposes of a universal service provider (within the meaning of Part 3 of the Postal Services Act 2011(78)) in connection with the provision of a universal postal service (within the meaning of that Part) consisting of: (a) the installation of posting boxes or self-service machines, (b) any other development carried out in, over or under the operational land of the undertaking
