Child and Family Early Help Hubs

What a hub is
Barnet Family Services deliver early help across the 0 to 19 age range, and we are based in 3 different locations across Barnet (hubs).
Our hubs are positioned closer to families, so we can work closely with other community based settings and organisations. Our Hubs also make it easier for families to access our support.
Each hub also has many other venues throughout Barnet, including Youth Centres and Children’s Centres.

What our hubs can offer
Each hub can offer:
- specialist support for example; health services, benefit advice, employment and training opportunities
- parenting support
- activities for example; baby groups and stay and play sessions and positive activities for children/young people
- a place to meet families, children and young people
The 3 hubs have common features, but may operate differently in each area depending on need and partnership arrangements.
The hubs are wider than just Barnet’s Early Help Team as we co-deliver with other agencies.
We also signpost and commission specialist services for our families.
There are also practitioners from different organisations who regularly spend time at our venues.
