How to use the digital library service
Use our free digital library service for ebooks, eAudiobooks and digital magazines. All you need is your Barnet library card and PIN.
If you have forgotten your PIN you can reset it online.

BorrowBox is home to the greatest authors of the world’s best eAudiobooks. Borrow, download and enjoy.

After you install and open the app, when asked to select your library, type in Barnet libraries rather than the location name.

Choose from thousands of fiction and non-fiction eBooks for adults, teenagers and children.
There is also a huge selection of magazines for all ages to borrow with no waiting lists.
Magazine titles include:

All titles are free to download to your PC, Mac or mobile device.

eNewspapers and eMagazines
Download the PressReader app, sign in with your library card for free then read from thousands of complimentary newspapers and magazines from 100 countries in 60 languages.
After 30 days, sign out and sign in again with your library card number and PIN to continue access. You can reset your PIN online or visit us in staffed opening times or contact us by email for assistance.

You can borrow The Economist on PressReader for 24 hours only. To renew your loan, you will need to visit a Barnet library and login to PressReader using the library's hotspot. Hotspot loans will also be limited to 24 hours. This is a requirement of The Economist and is beyond our control.
