Help with basic living costs

How much you can get

Every sponsored guest is entitled to a £200 payment to help with basic living costs.

If you already have a UK bank account

Email us at homesforukraine@barnet.gov.uk asking for the payment and giving us your bank details.

We will arrange for the payment to be paid direct into that account.

If you don't have a UK bank account

We can offer a cash payment service.

All guests will need to come to our office at 2 Bristol Avenue, Colindale, NW9 4EW to get the payment after emailing us at homesforukraine@barnet.gov.uk to make an appointment on one of our cash collection dates (currently taking place once a month).

This payment is only for those sponsored by the Homes for Ukraine scheme. We will check that you can get this, so please bring your documents with you; this could include any letters from the Home Office and your passport.
