ADHD support for parents and carers
We work together with a range of partners including:
- CAMHS
- Education
- Public Health
- the voluntary and community sector
This is to deliver support for families that have children with additional needs, including families with children that have ADHD.

Barnet Mencap support, advice and guidance
Barnet Mencap provide an information, advice and guidance service for families that include children with Autism, children with a Learning Disability and/ or ADHD. They also run parenting courses, and workshops for families including courses for ADHD. The next round of courses will be available from September 2019.

Unitas Youth Zone
Unitas offer a wide range of activities for children and young people in Barnet. All sessions are inclusive and the Sunday session is tailored to children and young people with additional needs. The annual membership fee is £5 and access to activities is 50p per visit.

SENDIASS
Barnet SENDIASS is a statutory service which offers free, confidential and impartial information, guidance advice and support for young people and parents/carers of children and young people from 0 to 25 years old with special educational needs around their education.

Early Help for children, young people and families
Barnet’s Early Help Service provides help and support to families, children and young people up to the age of 19 (or 25 with a disability).
There are 3 hubs in the borough:
- East Central: based at Newstead Children’s Centre
- West: based at Barnet and South Gate College – Colindale
- South: based at Parkfield Children’s Centre
