What is a MASH?
The Adults Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub is a team of professionals from a range of organisations and agencies who work together to protect adults who may be at risk of abuse, harm or neglect.
The MASH aims to improve the responses to safeguarding concerns through stronger links and better information sharing between organisations and agencies to lead to better outcomes for adults.
Which agencies are involved in Barnet’s Adults MASH?
Some of the agencies involved in the MASH are listed below and links with other organisations are being developed on a regular basis:

- Barnet Metropolitan Police
- Primary Care Trust/GP’s
- Barnet Enfield Haringey Mental Health Trust
- Hospital Trusts
- Solace Women’s Aid
- Barnet Homes
- London Ambulance
- London Fire Brigade
- Barnet Mencap
- Barnet drug and alcohol treatment service
